COOKIES POLICY (informativa estesa)
TYPES OF COOKIES
Cookies are identified in two macro-categories: "technical" cookies and "profiling" cookies.
Technical Cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service ".
Profiling Cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the net.
Session Cookies
Among the technical cookies there are session cookies that are stored on the user's computer for mere technical-functional needs, for the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site; they are deleted at the end of the "session" (hence the name) when the browser is closed. This type of cookie avoids the use of other IT techniques that are potentially detrimental to the privacy of users' browsing.
Persistent Cookies
Instead of disappearing when the browser is closed, as is the case with session cookies, persistent cookies expire on a specific date or after a certain period of time. This means that, for the entire lifespan of the cookie (which can be long or short depending on the expiration date decided by its creators), its information will be transmitted to the server every time the user visits the website, or whenever the user views a resource belonging to that site from another site (for example an advertisement). For this reason, persistent cookies can be used by advertisers to record information about a user's web browsing habits for an extended period of time. However, they are also used for "legitimate" reasons (such as keeping users registered in their account on websites, in order to avoid entering credentials for access to websites at each visit).
Third Part Cookies
Cookies stored on behalf of third parties and can in turn be session or persistent.
COOKIES USED BY THIS SITE
Cookies are not used for user profiling, nor are other tracking methods used. Instead, technical cookies or cookies comparable to technical cookies (analytics cookies) are used - by the data controller above - strictly limited to what is necessary for the safe and efficient navigation of the sites. The storage of technical cookies in terminals or browsers is under the user's control, where on the servers, at the end of the HTTP sessions, information relating to cookies remains recorded in the service logs, with equal retention times of the other navigation data. All technical cookies do not require consent, so they are installed automatically following access to the site.
CHECK AND DELETE COOKIES
If the user wishes to change the way in which the browser uses cookies, or to block or delete cookies from this site (or any other site), it is possible to do so by changing the browser settings. In order to monitor cookies, most browsers allow the user to accept or reject them all, accept only some types or, will ask each time if you want to save a cookie of a particular site.
